Write letters to representatives in Congress

 

While it doesn't sound like a lot, writing letters to Representatives could be impacting. They wouldn't just know what their constituents want, and the more people that write to them, the more the issue is brought to their attention.

 

 

Organize recycling programs in local area

 

Remember: think global, act local. Sure, messaging your officials is helpful, but that is the most basic of the things you could do. It doesn't feel like much, but if everyone decides that they're insignificant, then nothing would ever happen. Besides, it helps to organize your community and make it a better area.

 

 

Push for educational seminars in local areas

 

 

You now know what to do. Many others don't. Spread the word, and try to find a way to educate people in your community about it. That way, we can collectively improve our world.
