  • One of the bills that was recently introduced to the members of congress was the bill:  S.156- Energy Consumer Relief Act of 2015 brought forth by Senator Cassidy introduced on January 2015 which proposes to safeguard consumers by forbidding the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from performing energy-related rules that are estimated to cost more than one billion dollars and will cause significant adverse effects to the economy.

 

  • The second bill: S.110 and H.R.352— 114th Congress brought forth by Mr. Heller and Mr. Duffy talks about reducing the funding to EPA if the Administrator of EPA fails to meet deadlines. Funding will be rescinded by $20,000 a week. Shall not be more than 7% of total funding and there may be a one day grace period.
