Getting Recycling Back in Central

In the beginning of the school year, Central did not have a company to recycle every week. We wrote a letter to Republic Recycling Company to have regular pickup. After sending letter, they agreed to help us. They have worked with us for this year, and now it is up to the next year future leaders to keep the same company or find a different one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Letter To Budge Committee

We sent letter to Majority and Minority Party Senate Budget Committee, explaining the creation of federal recycling program.   

 

Earth Day Lesson/Class

Our short term goal for teaching the young generations at Central High School has been achieved through the Recycling Club and with the help of the Environmental Science class. On Earth Day, we taught students who came to our booth about recycling importance. Students from Central High have taken upon themselves to recycle, and keep the school clean. The staff at Central High have provided an incentive in which community service hours are given each time they recycle through the recycling club program.
