RECYCLING

 

RECYCLING is the collection and reprocessing of a resource that it can be made into new products.

 

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF RECYCLING PROCESS

 

Primary Recycling (closed loop): Process in which materials are recycled into new products of the same type.

 

Secondary Recycling (open loop): A process in which waste materials are converted into different products.

 

SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING: Recycling collection method in which all recyclables are collected in one container at the curb side. Recyclables are sorted in processing plants.

 

DUAL STREAM RECYCLING: Sorting recyclables into different containers.
